Rammstein - Keine Lust

After what I felt was a rather dissapointing single and video for "Ohne Dich", the six-German pyromaniac industrial team return with a great video that can best be described as "Fat City"!
The video sees the band as a group of mafia leaders or so, but all the members are dressed in fat suits except keyboardist Christian Lorenz, who's character is bound to a wheelchair with his keyboard gear.
This is one of those rare videos where you see the band jamming as they usually do storyline videos. And they rock hard here despite the fat suits! Even some comedic twists were added like singer Til running out of breath and having to be given oxygen by his fine looking assistant. Actually, each member of the band has a hot looking assistant (think Ms. Spencer from Rumble Roses game) helping them out by wiping the sweat off their brows, feeding them etc. as they jam.
The video ends with them all getting back into their white Mercedes Benz that they all showed up in at the beginning of the video and go their seperate ways.
Overall, this was a fun video and definately worth checking out. This is already their fourth single, but I'm still holding out hope that they release the killer track "Los" as a video and single.

Mudvayne - Determined

Mudvayne are back with the first release off the forthcoming "Lost and Found" album entitled "Determined". The new video sees the band totally do away with the painted faces nu-metal gimmick and go straight for the throat with a totally rockin' track!

The video is straight up and in your face as the band jams in a club type environment with kids all around them and a mosh pit in front of them. Small story going around in the pit as the moshers battle it out to become king of the pit as the band rocks this hard hitting, fisting pumping track!

This is a simple, but great video to match the fast pace thumping of the track and easily makes anyone feel like getting in the pit, bangin' your head and throwing your fists in the air! Can't wait for the album to come out!

Breed 77 - Shadows

Sorry if I haven't updated this blog in awhile, but I've finally got some good stuff to review in the following days. Starting off with this great video by Breed 77!
Breed 77 are an interesting new band and Shadows is a killer track off their album, Cultura.

The video features the band rockin' hard on this catchy, all acoustic track and features a storyline similar to the Antonio Banderas movie, Desperado, or the Spanish original, El Mariachi. But with exception of the main character, everything is animated and drawn American comic book style!
The Desperado basically walks a dessert road alone carrying his guitar case till he reaches a town, enters a bar and orders a drink while all eyes are on him. After he finishes his drink, he sets down his guitar case and opens it to have all this fireworks and colours coming out of it!
All the while the band is shown rockin' in a dark room with white lights flying around them like spirit orbs. And as the Desperado closes his case, we see that the band were inside there playing all along!

This was a really great vid, and I really like the way the song is played like a rockin' mariachi track! Gonna keep my eye out for these guys, and hope that everything else they do sounds like this. I highly recommend this!
